Our Goals
Provide professional and career development for MANA early-career members
Establish a community within the MANA early-career metabolomics network to encourage the exchange of metabolomics resources
Strengthen the metabolomics connections between industry, government, and academia
Promote metabolomics events/activities within North America
Opportunities & Awards
Supporting early careers through recognition, resources, and opportunities.
The ECM Committee is dedicated to supporting and recognizing the next generation of metabolomics researchers. Through workshops, grants, and awards, ECM provides meaningful opportunities for professional development, financial support, and recognition at the annual MANA conference.
Annual ECM Offerings
Workshops – Training and professional development opportunities led by experts in metabolomics and related fields.
Travel & Conference Awards – Support for early career researchers to attend and present at the MANA Annual Conference.
Awards for the Annual MANA Conference
MANA Early Career Rising Star Award
Mark P. Styczynski Early Career Award in Computational Metabolomics
ECM Travel Awards, Sponsored by ECM Committee
ECM Lightning Talk Award
ECM Best Poster Award – Postdoctoral Fellow, Graduate Student, & Undergraduate Student
Dependent Care Grant - ECM Committee is committed to promoting equitable access to all MANA members with child and/or adult dependent care responsibilities. This grant helps defray the cost of dependent care services, ensuring eligible applicants can fully participate in the conference.
